Why Sponsor the Kennett Run ?

Each year many local businesses, such as your company, sponsor the Kennett Run. The 2009 Kennett Run — our twentieth annual — will be held on Saturday, May 16. As you also may know, this event draws people and publicity from all over Chester County, as well as from surrounding counties, states, and even foreign countries. We believe that this race continues to be a huge success because of the quality of the competition, because of the dedication and effectiveness of the race organizers (which include area service clubs, organizations and individuals) and, most importantly, because of the generosity and support of local businesses such as yours.

If you choose to become a major Kennett Run sponsor, your company will profit through a variety of publicity initiatives, as well as from the knowledge that you are supporting the community. This publicity and community support are further highlighted on the sponsor form.

A donation of $1,800 will secure your position as a major Kennett Run sponsor, which entitles your company to all of the benefits listed on the sponsor form, including placement of your company's name and logo on approximately 1,500 official race T-shirts, two major race banners, over 10,000 brochures, 100 posters and at least one individualized street "lightpost" banner. Because it will be our twentieth annual race, we expect a historically high turnout this year, substantially exceeding the approximately four thousand competitors, volunteers and spectators who have attended in recent years.
